What is a bolo tie?
A bolo tie is a western-style neckwear featuring a braided leather cord with decorative metal tips, cinched by a slide ornament. It's one of the few pieces of jewelry that works just as well with a flannel as it does with a blazer.
How do I wear a bolo tie?
Push the slide button to adjust to your preferred length. Pull the slide snug against the collar for a more polished look, or wear it loose for a laid-back western vibe. Pair with a button-down, a denim jacket, or even a wedding suit. There are no rules out here.
What materials do you use?
We source 100% genuine braided leather for our cord. Our metal bolo centerpieces, tips and slides are custom designed by us and we work closely with our supplier to source high quality and gorgeous stone for our centerpieces.
Every bolo is made by hand by us in Portland, OR.
Are your bolos one-of-a-kind?
All of our gemstone bolos are one of a kind, each stone is a little different. Once they're gone, they're gone — just like a good sunset on the open range.
What's your return policy?
We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, reach out within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right — exchange, store credit, or refund. Custom pieces are final sale.
How do I care for my bolo tie?
Keep leather away from prolonged moisture and store flat or hanging to avoid kinking the cord. Wipe metal tips with a soft cloth to maintain their shine. For stone slides, avoid harsh chemicals — a gentle wipe is all they need. Clean and condition the cord with leather cleaner and conditioner as needed. Treat it well and it'll last a lifetime.
